Etherow Country Park Sailing Club Sailor Clinics are the perfect opportunity for sailors to hone their skills and improve their sailing techniques. These clinics are designed to help participants reduce errors and become more confident and competent on the water.
During the sessions, the club will utilise video recordings to focus on specific aspects of sailing, with a particular emphasis on those that make a real difference in racing. After each clinic, sailors will have the chance to watch replays, receive in-depth analysis, and gain valuable tips for improvement.
The primary goal of these clinics is to make them as enjoyable as possible for all participants, while also catering to the specific preferences and needs of our club members. Looking ahead, there are some exciting upcoming events at Etherow Country Park Sailing Club that sailors won't want to miss. Firstly, we have the Snowdrop Series 1-2, which promises some thrilling Sunday racing on the 11th of February.
But that's not all! On Thursday, the 15th of February, we will be hosting a Quiz Night, offering a chance for sailors to come together and have some fun off the water. It's a great way to socialise and test your knowledge while enjoying the company of fellow club members.
As we move further into February, there are more thrilling events on the calendar. The Snowdrop Series 3-4 will take place on Sunday, the 18th of February, followed by Snowdrop Series 5-6 on Sunday, the 25th of February. The Sunday racing series is always highly anticipated and promises some fierce competition and exciting moments.
Lastly, on Saturday, the 2nd of March, we have the Sailors Ramble. This social event is a chance for sailors to take a break from the action-packed racing and enjoy a leisurely stroll, taking in the beautiful surroundings and perhaps even spotting some local wildlife.
