Essex Yacht Club, located in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, is a historic and family-oriented club that has been established since 1890. Situated just a quarter of a mile from Leigh Old Town, this club attracts members of all ages and offers a thriving Cadet section with over 100 active cadets.

From April to October, the club holds regular sailing events, often in collaboration with the Leigh Sailing Club and primarily on weekends.
