The charter offers exclusive full boat trips for up to 8 anglers at a price of 400. If you don't have a full group, they also offer trips for a minimum of 4 anglers where you'll share the boat with others. Individual anglers are welcome as well, with a price of 60 per person. ESSEX Plan B provides 1 rod and tackle per angler at no additional cost.
To ensure you have the best chances of catching fish, the crew will provide recommendations on bait based on the prevalent species during the time of year. However, it's worth noting that alcohol is only allowed at the skipper's discretion.
The charter is conveniently located near a public car park just 250 metres from the embarkation point. Trips depart at 8:30am and aim to return to the dock by approximately 3:30pm, but it is subject to weather and tide conditions.
ESSEX Plan B has a range of boat records from 2023, including a 16lb skate, 14lb bass, 23lb smoothhound, 45lb tope, 3lb dogfish, 8lb cod, and 12lb spur dog. These impressive catches are a testament to the productive fishing marks known and frequented by the charter.
