Jazzy Jumpers

The evenings. This class is open to adults of all ages and fitness levels who are interested in learning and improving their skipping skills. The focus of the adult class is on fitness, coordination, and having fun in a supportive and inclusive environment. The class offers a great opportunity to get active, try something new, and meet other like-minded individuals.

No previous skipping experience is necessary to join the adult class. Participants should wear comfortable workout clothes and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated during the session.

For those skippers who are looking to take their skipping to the next level, we offer a competition and performance team. This team is for more experienced skippers who are interested in competing at State, National, and International competitions, as well as performing at various events throughout the Canberra region. The team receives specialised training from our qualified coaches and participates in regular training sessions to develop their skills and routines. Skippers in the competition and performance team are required to wear the club uniform during training and performances.

The club is proud to have a team of dedicated and experienced coaches who are passionate about the sport of rope skipping. Our coaches have extensive knowledge and experience in both recreational and competitive skipping and are committed to creating a positive and supportive learning environment for all skippers. They provide guidance, encouragement, and individualised instruction to help each skipper reach their full potential and achieve their personal goals. The coaches also play a key role in the club's involvement in competitions and performances, ensuring that our skippers are well-prepared and ready to showcase their skills.

Jazzy Jumpers is affiliated with various organisations and associations in the skipping community. We are a member of the Australian Jump Rope Federation (AJRF) and follow their guidelines and rules for competitions. We also have links with other local and international skipping clubs, allowing our skippers to participate in workshops and training camps to further enhance their skills. These connexions provide our skippers with opportunities to connect with skippers from other clubs, learn from different coaches, and broaden their knowledge and experiences in the sport.
