Equestrian NSW

Equestrian NSW is an established equestrian club located in Horsley Park. Founded in 1951 and incorporated in 1990, Equestrian NSW is the state branch of Equestrian Australia (EA), the national governing body for equestrian sports in Australia. The aim of Equestrian NSW and EA is to provide a structured and regulated framework for equestrian competitions, ensuring fair rules and regulations for competitors, while also promoting the development and growth of the sport.

The primary focus of Equestrian NSW is to improve facilities and accessibility to competitions and training throughout New South Wales. The club is dedicated to encouraging and promoting equestrian sport, increasing spectator levels, and administering coach and officials education programmes. Additionally, Equestrian NSW actively seeks sponsorship funding to support its activities and initiatives.

Equestrian NSW operates as a non-profit organisation and boasts an extensive membership base. With over 8,000 individual members, as well as numerous affiliated clubs, constituents, coaches, and officials, the club plays a pivotal role in the equestrian community. There are currently more than 3,000 registered horses within Equestrian NSW, and over 130 affiliated clubs offering EA-sanctioned competitions.

At Equestrian NSW, members have the opportunity to participate in a variety of equestrian sports, including dressage, eventing, jumping, carriage driving, vaulting, and show horse competitions. The club also supports interschool equestrian programmes, providing valuable opportunities for young riders to showcase their talents.
