Epping Shotokan Karate is a family-oriented traditional Japanese Karate Dojo located in Epping, Australia. Established in 2000, the dojo started with a small group of enthusiastic juniors at the Epping YMCA and has since grown into a club with over 100 registered members. The growth of the club is a testament to the dedication and support of our members, families, and instructors.
At Epping Shotokan Karate, we pride ourselves on the high quality of instruction we provide. Our current and former students have competed nationally and represented Australia on the international stage. We believe in fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and supported.
Starting your journey with us is easy. Simply book a trial lesson by emailing us, and we can discuss your individual requirements. We highly recommend trial lessons so that you can get a feel for the club and our instructors. We understand that starting a martial art can be a lifelong commitment, and we want to ensure that we start it right.
If you are restarting your martial arts journey, we are also happy to discuss your individual requirements.
You can find us at our dojo in Epping.
When it comes to costs, there are two components to training at Epping Shotokan Karate Dojo. The first is the annual membership fee, which covers membership to SKIA (Shotokan Karate International Australia) and our insurance. This fee is paid annually on the anniversary of your starting date. The second component is the weekly training fees, which are paid every fortnight in advance via direct debit.
We can also provide the Karate uniform (Dogi) if needed.
We are proud to be an “NSW Active Kids” provider and accept the vouchers for training fees.
