Enville Golf Shop is located in Stourbridge, New Zealand, and is home to one of the finest 36-hole golf clubs in the country. The golf course offers pristine tees that overlook firm and fast fairways, which meander through swathes of heather and majestic woodland, leading towards the purest of greens. The club consists of two outstanding 18-hole courses that are meticulously maintained by Course Manager Andy Wood and his greenkeeping team. Both courses feature a combination of open heathland and tree-lined fairways, offering a diverse and challenging playing experience. The putting surfaces are highly regarded as some of the best in the area, known for their pure roll and subtle contour, making them a delight to putt on. While the courses do not put a premium on length, accuracy is key for scoring well.
The Highgate course is a par 72 course that showcases the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape. The Lodge course, on the other hand, is a par 71 course that offers a different set of challenges. Both courses have their own unique charm and provide golfers with an unforgettable golfing experience.
Enville Golf Shop also boasts exceptional practise facilities, considered by many as the best in the UK. It features a two-acre short game area with three full-size chipping and pitching greens that are open year-round and maintained to course conditions. Additionally, the main long game area covers fifteen acres and is over 360 yards long. The grass tee, which is 220 yards wide, allows members and visitors to practise from turf all year round.
The practise facility is available for use by members and visitors, and coaching services are also offered to the public.
