Enso Martial Arts – Children, Teen & Adult Ju Jitsu is a martial arts club located in Bolton, North West England. With their passion for teaching martial arts, Enso Martial Arts aims to provide high-quality training to students of all ages throughout the UK.

The club specialises in teaching Ju Jitsu, which was first developed in the 1400s in Japan as a combat technique against the Samurai. Ju Jitsu focuses on grappling techniques that allow students to utilise their opponent's energy to their advantage using pins, joint locks, and throws. Unlike other violent sports, Ju Jitsu is rooted in values of respect, trust, and confidence.

Enso Martial Arts has developed a comprehensive syllabus that supports students' progression through various Ju Jitsu grades or belts. This system of graded progression is common in many martial arts, and it serves as a tangible measure of a student's experience and progress. However, there is no specific time frame for moving from one grade to the next. Each student's progression is dependent on their ability and dedication to the art.

The club hosts three gradings each year, providing students with the opportunity to showcase their skills and advance their rank.

Enso Martial Arts offers regular Ju Jitsu classes in multiple locations, including Bolton, East Lancashire, Fylde & Wyre, Preston, Ribble Valley, and South Ribble. Their Bolton evening classes are open to everyone and begin with a free first lesson. Subsequently, classes are priced at 7 per session, with direct debit options available for convenience.

For children outside the public, Enso Martial Arts also organises after-school clubs in various primary schools in Bolton. These clubs are closed to external children, providing students within the school an opportunity to learn and practise Ju Jitsu in a familiar environment.

Some of the primary schools that host Enso Martial Arts after-school clubs include St. Andrew's Primary School, Sacred Heart Primary School, St. Peter's Smithills Dean, St. Maxentius Primary School, and Eagley Junior School.

Each club session lasts for approximately one hour, helping students develop their skills and learn self-defence techniques.
