Lodge was to witness the stunning Aurora Borealis. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the plethora of outdoor activities available, including fishing, canoeing, berry picking, and hiking. The staff's wealth of experience and knowledge made these activities not only enjoyable but educational as well.
The highlight of our trip was, of course, the Aurora viewing experience. Being away from the city lights allowed for a clear and uninterrupted view of the dancing lights in the night sky. It was truly a mesmerizing and unforgettable experience that left us in awe.
The accommodation at Trout Rock Lodge was comfortable and cozy, providing a perfect retreat after a day of adventure. The meals served were delicious and hearty, fuelling us for the next day's activities.
Overall, our stay at Trout Rock Lodge was not only memorable but also meaningful. The combination of natural beauty, exciting activities, and warm hospitality made it a trip that we will cherish forever. We are already planning our return trip because, as we said when we first arrived, “we have to come back”.
