At Emu Outdoors, we are passionate about helping people discover the joy of stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). Located in Moama, a charming town in regional New South Wales, our surf school offers a range of options for all levels of experience.

For those who are new to SUP, we offer a convenient 'click and collect' option. With our new SUP trailer, you can now rent a paddleboard and start your adventure on the water. Booking is as simple as a few clicks on our website, and you'll receive instant confirmation and all the necessary information, including the PIN to unlock your board. Our boards are just 10 metres away from the safe and quiet waters of Maidens Marina, making it an ideal location for learning how to SUP.

Safety is our top priority, and every participant of our click and collect SUP hire must watch a safety video before participating. We want to ensure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience on the water.

If you prefer a more guided experience, we also offer instructed group tours. Led by our experienced instructors, these tours provide paddle technique instruction, tricks, and a guided tour of the river. You may even spot a little blue kingfisher along the way! The historical facts of the river at Maidens Inn add an educational touch to your paddling journey.

For those who need a bit more personal attention, we offer private lessons. With one-on-one tuition, you can build your confidence and master the art of paddleboarding without feeling self-conscious.

One of our popular options is the down river paddle. Starting at Maidens Inn Marina, you'll have the opportunity to practise in calm waters before embarking on a leisurely 3-kilometre paddle with the current into Echuca. Along the way, you'll pass by landmarks such as the 140-year-old train bridge, the historic port, and paddle steamers. The paddle ends at Victoria Park boat ramp, where you can admire the construction of the new enormous bridge.

It's a tranquil and scenic journey, watching the giant gums glide by as you go with the current.
