This event is geared towards players who are new to soccer or have never played before, especially welcoming newcomers to Canada and youth who may not have had the chance to get involved in the sport. It's all about breaking down barriers and giving everyone a chance to experience the beautiful game!
With the support of Canada Soccer and IDEA, EMSA North is dedicated to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for young players aged U7 to U11. The event will feature age-specific training led by EMSA North's Technical Leads, ensuring that participants receive top-notch coaching tailored to their needs. And thanks to a partnership with Sport Central, players in need of equipment like shoes, shin pads, and shorts will be covered - plus, each participant will walk away with a special gift!
The ultimate goal of this event is to reach out to underserved youth and offer them a chance to fall in love with soccer. After the Free-Kicks session, players will have the opportunity to sign up for EMSA North's Summer League, a fun and affordable summer soccer program. Financial obstacles should never stand in the way of enjoying the beautiful game, which is why EMSA North is committed to helping families access funding sources and the EMSA North funded hardship fund.
To secure your spot at the Free-Kicks event, a $10.00 deposit is required for online registration - but don't worry, it's fully refundable upon attendance. EMSA North encourages everyone to come out, have a blast, and take the first step towards a summer full of soccer fun!
