In addition to personal training, Emily Corner Health & Fitness also offers a range of classes to cater to different fitness levels and preferences. The classes have been adapted to comply with social distancing measures, with equipment spaced out and class sizes reduced. The classes are now 30 minutes long to adhere to guidelines, but this will be regularly reviewed. Online classes, known as “live classes,” will also continue to be available for those who prefer to participate from home.
When attending a class, clients are asked to remain in their cars until instructed to enter the studio. Upon arrival, hand sanitization is mandatory, and clients are directed to their designated station. It is advised to only bring a filled water bottle, as bags, coats, etc. are not allowed in the studio and must be kept by the station.
Each person will have access to disinfectant spray and roll to sanitise their equipment. Late attendance will not be permitted, as the doors to the studio will be closed once the class begins to ensure the safety of all participants.
There will be a limit of three spin classes per week per member, and swapping places with others will not be allowed, as there will be a reserve list in place. For yoga classes, clients are encouraged to bring their own mats, but they are available for purchase if needed. A 24-hour cancellation policy applies to both personal training and classes, and payment is required upon arrival, with cash accepted but exact change preferred. There is a price increase for the 30-minute classes, which are now 5.
