Ely Victoria Badminton Club is a friendly and inclusive sports club located in Ely, Cambridgeshire. Open to players of all competitive abilities and ages, from improvers to experts, the club provides a welcoming and sociable environment for badminton enthusiasts. With approximately 50 members, Ely Victoria Badminton Club strikes a great balance between competitive sport and camaraderie.
The club attracts players not only from Ely but also from the surrounding villages such as Littleport, Witchford, and Soham. Some dedicated members even travel over 60 miles to attend our club nights, testament to the quality of our facilities and the friendly atmosphere we foster.
Club nights are held every Tuesday from 7pm to 10pm at the Ely Paradise Sports Centre. During these sessions, members participate in mixed and level doubles matches, although singles games can be organised later in the evening if there are available courts. Feather shuttles are used throughout, both during club nights and matches, ensuring an authentic and high-quality playing experience. The club makes full use of all four wooden sprung courts.
