In the 70s, Peter Alway took over the reins as the club's leader and has played a pivotal role in producing numerous national and state champions in judo. With his vast experience and expertise, Peter Alway is highly respected within the judo community, having served as the President of the Judo Federation of Australia and Judo Victoria Inc.
Eltham Judo Club offers a range of classes to cater to different age groups and skill levels. For aspiring judo enthusiasts under the age of 16, the club provides junior classes. If you're over 16 and looking to enhance your judo skills, they have senior classes as well. And for those who prefer a mixed class suitable for all ages, Eltham Judo Club has got you covered.
Classes take place on Wednesdays, making it convenient for busy schedules. The junior class runs from 6:00pm to 7:00pm, followed by the senior class from 7:00pm to 8:30pm.
