Welcome to Elevate Gymnastics Academy! As the premier gymnastics club in East Bunbury, our goal is to provide a dedicated space for gymnastics enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. Established in 2023, we are proud to offer qualified and experienced gymnastics coaches who are passionate about helping each athlete reach their full potential.
At Elevate Gymnastics Academy, we offer classes that cater to a wide range of ages and abilities. Our athletes have the opportunity to follow the National Australian Levels Programme for Women's Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) or choose a more recreational pathway. We believe in providing a safe, fun, and inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.
For our youngest gymnasts, we offer Pre-School Classes such as KinderGym and GymBugs. KinderGym classes are packed with activities designed to develop gross and fine motor skills through exploration-based play. Children up to age 4 and their caregivers can enjoy playing together in a stimulating and fun environment. GymBugs, on the other hand, is for children of Kindergarten age in 2024.
Led by our accredited gymnastics coaches, they will learn foundational gymnastics skills and develop a strong foundation for an active lifestyle.
In our Recreational Classes, we have Foundation Levels that serve as an introduction to the fundamental skills and movements of Artistic Gymnastics. Students will be introduced to traditional gymnastics apparatus, including the Balance Beam, Uneven Bars, Vault, and Floor. As they progress, they can join our Recreational Levels, where they can learn at their own pace in a safe, fun, and friendly environment. Our programme aims to build confidence, foster friendships, and encourage personal goals.
We also offer optional in-house competitions for those who want to challenge themselves further. The Foundation Levels are a prerequisite for our Development Squads, which are by invitation only. In Development Squads, students will be supported in learning skills, increasing strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance, which are essential for progressing into competitive gymnastics.
For those seeking a competitive gymnastics experience, our Competitive WAG Squads are available by invitation only. Athletes will be coached in a positive and encouraging environment as they work towards their personal goals and commit to learning the required skills. They will have the opportunity to compete in State competitions according to the Australian Levels Programme.
