After completing my dance training in Brazil, I moved to Glasgow and decided to share my passion for dance with others by opening Elen Brando Dance School in 2007. I wanted to create a space where children could experience the joy and benefits of dance, just like I did when I was young.
At Elen Brando Dance School, we offer Ballet and Jazz classes for children ages 3 and up. We follow the B. A. T.
D. syllabus, which is validated by C. M. This ensures that our students receive quality instruction and learn proper technique.
Our focus is not only on technical skills, but also on fostering creativity, self-expression, and having fun.
Our team of dedicated and passionate teachers are lifelong learners themselves. They are educated, motivated, and constantly exploring innovative teaching methodologies. We believe in investing in our teachers' skills to provide the best dance education possible.
The safety and wellbeing of our students is of utmost importance to us. All of our teachers are part of the PVG Scheme (The Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme), ensuring that they have undergone necessary background checks.
Our classes take place at Bothwell Parish Church Centre on Main Street in Bothwell. We also have a calendar of events and important dates for the dance school, including dance exams and performances.
We are proud to announce our upcoming 10th-year anniversary celebration, where we will be commemorating a decade of teaching at Elen Brando Dance School. Furthermore, we have also recently had a successful BATD Dance Exam where our students were awarded medals for their hard work and dedication.
