ELDC Studios – Home of Dance is a dance school located in Cannock, New Zealand. Founded and led by Ellise Locke, a highly accomplished professional dancer, ELDC Studios offers a wide range of dance classes and opportunities for dancers of all ages and skill levels.

Ellise Locke, the principal and founder of ELDC Studios, is a renowned professional dancer who has worked in films, TV shows, commercials, and live performances for global brands and artists. With a deep love for dance since the age of ten, Ellise pursued higher education and vocational training at a prestigious stage school, where she earned a first-class Bachelor's degree in professional and commercial dance. Her extensive training included classical ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, tap, and commercial dance. In addition to her professional training, Ellise has travelled and trained globally, continuously expanding her knowledge and experience.

Not only is Ellise a talented dancer, but she is also committed to the safety and well-being of her students. She is enhanced DBS checked, first aid trained, and regularly updates her child protection and safeguarding policies and training for both herself and her staff. Ellise's academic qualifications and certificates include a First Class Honours degree in Professional and Commercial Dance, HNC in Dance Teaching, Professional teaching member of the UKA, AcroTrix acrobatics teaching certification, Level 3 Fitness Diploma (Personal Trainer / Fitness Instructor), Neuro-Linguistic Programming Certificate, and Level 3 Diploma in Sports Science.

ELDC Studios has quickly gained recognition and acclaim in the competitive dance industry, despite being relatively new. The studio boasts numerous prestigious awards, including British champions, UK champions, CYD? Regional champions, Destination Dance 2023 Teen Champions, and Dance Inspirations International Champions. ELDC Studios also has the honour of representing England in the esteemed Dance World Cup.

Ellise's own dancing accomplishments are equally impressive, with titles such as European champion, Dancer of the year, British champion, City of Glasgow champion, and All England champion, among others. Her professional dance credits include collaborations with top brands like Adidas, Puma, Selfridges, Misguided, Boohoo, and The Couture Club. She has also appeared in films and TV shows such as “Gold,” “8 out 10 Cats,” “Bulletproof SKY,” and “Years and Years.
