For those looking to learn Jive, Elaine Atkins IDTA offers a 6-week Learn to Jive Course. The course takes place on Wednesday evenings from 8 pm to 9 pm at Greentowers and costs 38 per person for the full course. This course is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with prior dance experience who are looking to learn new moves. Ideal for couples or singles, those without dance partners can also participate.

In addition to regular classes, Elaine Atkins IDTA also provides Jive lessons at Jive Nights, organised by the Hinckley Rock 'n' Roll Club. These lessons take place at Wykin & District Social Club from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm, and no booking is required. The cost is 4 per person, and participants can learn Jive Strollers and Charleston Strollers as well.
