The Edmonton Nordic Ski Club Biathlon Range, located in Edmonton, offers a unique and exciting combination of cross-country skiing and biathlon shooting. Founded in 1978, the club has grown to become one of Canada's largest Nordic ski clubs with approximately 1200 members. It provides lessons and programs for skiers of all ages and abilities.
The club grooms and maintains the connected trail system in Gold Bar, Goldstick, and Capilano Parks, featuring 12 kilometres of connected and illuminated ski trails ranging from easy to challenging. Additionally, when temperatures drop, the club's Trails & Grooming Team make man-made snow at Gold Bar Park, extending the skiing season.
The Edmonton Nordic Ski Club Biathlon Range is located at the Strathcona Science Park and offers a full-service range for the Biathlon program. The range is maintained and operated by the club, providing a safe and professional environment for participants to practice and compete.
