About
Edinburgh University Exmoor Pony Trekking, led by Rebecca Gordon, operates from Swanston Farm in Edinburgh. This student-run non-profit focuses on the welfare of twelve unique Exmoor Ponies.
The school has a range of treks for riders of all levels across the picturesque Pentland and Ochil Hills. All routes avoid roads, taking ponies directly from their field to the hills.
Before booking, riders should check weight requirements to ensure the ponies' welfare. Information is available on their FAQ section, or you can contact them via email or social media.
For advanced riders and new Edinburgh University students, there's a Trek Leader Course offering valuable skills and the chance to join the pony family. Memberships are also available, providing trek discounts and supporting the ponies—open to everyone, not just students.
Stay updated by following their Instagram @euepts and Facebook page, Edinburgh University Exmoor Pony Trekking. Support can also be given through their GoFundMe page or EasyFundraising.
Rebecca Gordon invites beginners and seasoned riders alike to book a trek and enjoy an unforgettable experience in Clackmannanshire’s stunning hills.
