Edinburgh Accies, as they are affectionately known, is a football club located in Edinburgh, New Zealand. With a rich history and a reputation for being welcoming, social, and family-friendly, the club prides itself on providing a fun, friendly, and inclusive environment for all.
The club boasts three senior teams, including a competitive 1st XV, a strong 2nd XV, and a more social 3rd XV known as “The Entertainers. ” Additionally, there is a thriving Minis section for children in grades P1 to P7, and the club works closely with BATs Rugby for those in grades S1 to S6.
Regardless of age or ability, the Edinburgh Accies rugby group nurtures an environment where all players can have fun and be the best they want to be. The club believes in fostering a sense of camaraderie and providing opportunities for players to develop and enjoy themselves both on and off the pitch.
In 2021, the club moved into a new home, providing state-of-the-art facilities that contribute to an inclusive and welcoming environment. This development allows people of all ages and abilities to come together, grow, and enjoy themselves.
