Eden Valley Divers is passionate about teaching drysuit/cold water scuba diving to the highest standard. The club is affiliated to the Scottish Sub-Aqua Club (ScotSAC) and follows their training procedure to ensure a safe diving experience for all members. Located at Abbott Lodge, Clifton, near Penrith, Cumbria, the club offers a small and friendly environment for diving enthusiasts to learn and explore the underwater world.

The club organises local dives in popular lakes such as Crummock Water, Ullswater, and Wastwater. As divers gain experience, they also have the opportunity to venture further afield and participate in sea dives. Some favourite destinations for saltwater dives include Loch Long, Loch Fyne, the East Coast, Farne Islands, and St Abbs. Additionally, the club regularly organises warm water diving holidays, as seen from their gallery photos.

For those interested in joining the club, Eden Valley Divers can lend most of the necessary gear when starting out. However, as individuals progress, it is encouraged to have one's own diving equipment. The training process begins with a chat with one of the instructors, where all the details can be explained on an informal basis. Once a member of ScotSAC and Eden Valley Divers, the training is free of charge, and divers will work towards a qualification recognised worldwide.

Membership fees include joining ScotSAC, which can be found on their website with information about their current pricing. The initial fee is 75, covering the first year and the training logbook, and subsequent years cost 55. Eden Valley Divers also requires a yearly subscription fee of 50.
