Eclipse Gymnastics CIC

Eclipse Gymnastics CIC is a non-profit club based in Southampton, New Zealand, that provides a safe and welcoming environment for all. The club offers a variety of sessions and classes for different age groups and abilities.

For younger children between the ages of 6 months to 4 years, there are active tot sessions available. These sessions focus on developing coordination, strength, and movement, as well as problem-solving, creativity, and social interaction.

Gymnastic classes start at age 2 and aim to teach key life skills such as goal-setting, teamwork, and determination, alongside developing gymnastic skills and overall body development. The classes are tailored to suit all abilities, ranging from beginners and recreational gymnasts to competitive Sports Acrobatics and Tumbling.

Eclipse Gymnastics is committed to inclusivity and has 5 qualified disability specialists who enable all sessions to be adaptive to members who may need extra support. The club values recognition and achievements and rewards gymnasts who reach their goals and progress through the levels.

Eclipse Gymnastics was founded by Lil and Laura in September 2014 with the vision of providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment for those interested in gymnastics. The coaching team at Eclipse Gymnastics consists of experienced individuals who are passionate about teaching and developing gymnasts. The co-owners, Lil and Laura, have both trained and competed nationally in gymnastics. They are supported by Head Coach Christie Lavelle and a team of enthusiastic coaches and volunteers.

All coaches are insured with British Gymnastics, possess a DBS check, and have completed safeguarding courses.
