Welcome to Easy Divers North Devon, the only PADI Dive Centre in the region. Established in 2014, Easy Divers was founded to cater to scuba divers visiting Ilfracombe, particularly those interested in the popular seal encounter dive sites at Lundy island. While there were options available for experienced club divers, there was a lack of dive trips specifically designed for holiday divers. Recognising this gap in the market, Easy Divers was created to offer seal encounter dive trips with experienced local dive guides, as well as the option to rent diving gear.
In addition to dive trips, Easy Divers also saw a need for PADI Open Water diving training courses in North Devon. Both local residents and visitors were seeking a way to obtain a globally recognised diving qualification, especially from the world's largest provider of diving training, PADI. To meet this demand, Easy Divers began offering PADI Open Water training courses.

Our try dive experiences and training take place in the safety and comfort of our own heated outdoor pool.
Open water training dives are conducted in a sheltered bay at Lundy or at the South West Maritime Academy near Bristol.
Once you have achieved your PADI Open Water qualification, you will be certified to scuba dive with a buddy anywhere in the world. Join us for our guided Lundy seal encounter trips, complete with full or partial equipment hire if needed. We are now taking bookings for the 2023 Lundy seal diving season, and gift vouchers are available for purchase for the upcoming Christmas season.
Easy Divers offers a range of services and experiences, including swimming pool try dives, PADI Open Water training courses, PADI Reactivate and diving skills refresher sessions for qualified divers, corporate team building events, and gift vouchers. For those interested in learning to dive, Easy Divers offers Try Dive experiences for swimmers aged 10 and above. To participate in a Try Dive, all you require is the ability to swim 25 metres in water that is too deep to stand in. PADI Open Water training courses are available for individuals aged 12 and older. Contrary to popular belief, you do not need to be a strong swimmer to dive.
To obtain the PADI Open Water qualification, you simply need to be able to swim 200 metres comfortably and tread water for 10 minutes without assistance in deep water.
