Eastern Stars ICE Hockey Club & School is a well-established and highly respected hockey club and training provider located in London. Founded in 2000 by Igor ILJIN and Vadim VINNIKOV, Eastern Stars has grown into a successful and talented team with a strong international presence. The club is known for its distinctive European influence style of ice hockey and its true International character, with players hailing from countries such as Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Finland, UK, Canada and USA.
The club's home base is the Lee Valley Ice Centre in London, where they hold weekly training sessions on Tuesday at 9. 30pm, Thursday at 10. 45pm, and Sunday at 10. 45pm.
These sessions provide players of all ages and abilities the opportunity to improve their skills and develop a love for the game. Coordinated by dedicated club manager Vadim Vinnikov, the training sessions are well-structured and cater to the individual needs of each player.
In addition to training sessions, Eastern Stars also competes in various leagues and tournaments, both locally and nationally. The team has a strong track record of success, including victories over London Devils (Belgo), Slough Tornados, Streatham Chiefs, Romford Rangers, and Logica Leopards. A notable achievement for the club was reaching the semi-finals of the UK Recreational Ice Hockey Championships in Telford in 2001, and subsequent Bronze Medal wins in 2002 and 2004. In 2005, Eastern Stars became the UK Recreational Ice Hockey champions after winning Gold medals in a thrilling final against the Solihull Vikings.

To be a part of Eastern Stars, all you need is the will and desire to play. While ice hockey is a dangerous sport, protective equipment such as ice skates, helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, shorts, shinpads, and a hockey stick are essential. These can easily be purchased on platforms like eBay at a fraction of the price. The club offers various membership options, with monthly and six-monthly rates available.
Membership fees cover all training sessions, scrimmage sessions, home and away games, providing players with exceptional value for their investment.
