Established in July 2014, Eastbourne Boxing Club is a non-profit organisation affiliated with the National Governing Body, England Boxing. Located in Eastbourne, our club offers both fitness and competition opportunities to residents of all ages and abilities.
At Eastbourne Boxing Club, we pride ourselves on having a team of experienced coaches who are dedicated to teaching and mentoring individuals from age 5 and upwards. Our Senior Head Coach, Adam Haniver, is a full-time coach who works with 16-18 year old aspiring elite boxers from all over the south of England at the Diploma in Sporting Excellence (DiSE) boxing academy. He is also a coach with the England National Pathways Squads. Adam also hosts a website called www.

Our club offers training sessions for different age groups and skill levels. For youths aged 5-15, we have dedicated classes that focus on building a strong foundation in basic boxing techniques while promoting discipline, fitness, and self-confidence. Junior classes cater to children aged 5-9, providing a fun and safe environment for them to learn the fundamentals of boxing.
Our senior sessions are open to individuals aged 16 and above who are interested in pursuing boxing as a sport or simply looking to improve their fitness levels. These sessions are tailored to individual goals and abilities, allowing members to progress at their own pace.
In addition to our regular classes, Eastbourne Boxing Club also offers specialised training for women. Our EBC Women programme provides a supportive and empowering environment for women to learn boxing skills while promoting physical fitness and personal growth.
As an affiliate of England Boxing, Eastbourne Boxing Club ensures that all members, regardless of age or gender, learn boxing within a safe and inclusive environment. We prioritise the well-being and development of our members and strive to create an atmosphere that fosters growth, resilience, and camaraderie.
