The Tiger Tennis Early Learning Program (3-5 years) offers an incredible opportunity for young children to dive into the exciting world of tennis while having a blast. This program is designed to teach genuine tennis skills and introduce core fundamentals to our budding future stars. Our fantastic coaches place a strong emphasis on developing hand-eye coordination and honing essential footwork through a variety of engaging exercises.
During these lessons, children will have the chance to hit tennis balls, participate in tennis coordination exercises, and work on stroke development. We've created a lesson setup that utilises modified equipment, including low compression tennis balls and 19-inch tennis racquets, to make it easier for our little players to grasp the basics. We want to ensure that learning tennis is not only relevant but also enjoyable for even the youngest participants!
The coaching program runs during Term 1 and takes place every Thursday from 15th February to 21st March. The price for this wonderful program is only $149.95, offering great value for parents who want to introduce their kids to the joys of tennis. Our coaching sessions are held at the Seymour College Junior School Tennis Courts, conveniently located at 546 Portrush Road, Glen Osmond, SA.
In the case of inclement weather, we've got you covered. If a lesson needs to be canceled due to adverse conditions, we'll make sure to notify parents or guardians by text message on the lesson day, and a catch-up session will be arranged via email. We understand the importance of continuity in our coaching program and want to make sure every child gets the opportunity to learn and improve their game.
To celebrate our little athletes' hard work and dedication, awards will be given to all participants at the end of the term. These accolades serve as a reminder of the importance of participating and working towards a common goal. It's a fantastic way to wrap up the program and showcase the progress made by our young tennis enthusiasts.
For those who want to take their child's experience to the next level, we offer the option to purchase a junior racquet with their enrolment. Rest assured, the correct racquet size will be provided to ensure our young players have the best gear to support their budding skills.
