Dynamic Martial Arts & Fitness

Dynamic Martial Arts & Fitness is a family run martial arts club located in Forest Hill, Australia. Established in 2000, their mission is to “Build Confidence and Teach Respect” for families in the community. Head instructor, Chris Malloy, has over 40 years of training experience in martial arts and has fostered a strong community within the club.

They offer a range of classes to cater to different age groups and interests. For preschoolers aged 4-5, they have a programme designed to develop essential motor skills and instil confidence in preparation for school life. The programme focuses on skills such as listening, coordination, behaviour, and focus, providing a nurturing environment for young children to learn and grow. Classes for preschoolers are held on Mondays at 10:30 am, as well as on weekends.

The Kids programme is ideal for school-age children (5-8 years) and aims to instil values such as respect, teamwork, and focus. Important topics like handling bullying are also addressed in a supportive and encouraging atmosphere. Kids classes are held Monday to Friday at 4:00 pm and 4:30 pm, and on weekends at 11:00 am, 11:30 am, and 12:00 pm.

The Juniors programme, tailored for children aged 8-12, focuses on cultivating a positive attitude, discipline, and fitness. Participants also learn essential self-defence skills that empower them both on and off the training floor.

The Teens programme is dedicated to helping young adults (13–17 years) build confidence, resilience, and self-esteem, all while enhancing their fitness levels. It provides a positive and empowering environment for personal growth. Classes for teens are held Monday to Friday at 5:00 pm and on Saturdays at 12:00 pm.

For adults, Dynamic Martial Arts & Fitness offers a programme that combines fitness, fun, and self-esteem building. They provide flexible daytime and nighttime classes to accommodate different schedules. The programme focuses on practical self-defence training that enhances fitness and cultivates self-respect and confidence. Classes for adults are held on Mondays at 12:30 pm, Tuesdays at 7:00 pm, and Thursdays at 12:30 pm and 7:00 pm.

In addition to their martial arts classes, the club also offers Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. Gracie Combatives is the ideal starting point for anyone interested in Jiu-Jitsu. The club provides a welcoming environment for beginners to learn and develop their skills.
