Dunstable Bowmen Archery Club is the place to be for anyone aged 10 and up. Rebecca’s club has a mix of juniors, teens, adults, and seniors all enjoying archery through spring, summer, autumn, and yes, even winter (they've got a frostbite challenge for the brave ones).
Rebecca’s team is affiliated with Archery GB and World Archery and runs beginner courses every May and September. They also have "Have a Go" sessions in April and September for those wanting a taste of archery.
From “Have a Go” events to open and closed shoots, there’s always something happening at the club. The events are open to both members and non-members, making it a great way to meet others and have fun with the sport.
Started in 1969, Rebecca’s club has members from complete beginners to national record holders. Whether you fancy a longbow, recurve, or compound bow, there’s room for you here. Families, singles, young and old - everyone’s welcome.
The club loves getting involved in tournaments around Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, and Buckinghamshire, giving members a chance to improve skills and meet other archers.
This year, the club celebrates its 50th anniversary, marking an amazing journey from a group of housewives looking to keep fit to a bustling community of archers. Rebecca and the gang are ready to welcome you, whether you’re new to archery or a seasoned pro. Come along and join the fun at Dunstable Bowmen!
