Alex here from Dunedin Hapkido wants to share a little something with the sports community.
Nestled in our lively city of Dunedin, Dunedin Hapkido is a not-for-profit martial arts club that’s all about quality Hapkido training for everyone, regardless of age or skill level.
Hapkido, for those who don’t know, is a Korean martial art that's all about practical self-defence. Think powerful strikes, joint locks, throws, and pressure point techniques, all wrapped up in one. With Alex and their team of experienced, passionate instructors, you’re in good hands to pick up some effective self-defence skills.
Fancy giving it a go? You can pop along to one of their training sessions without any cost or obligation. Just bring comfy training clothes, a water bottle, and a positive vibe. Sessions run every Tuesday and Thursday from 6pm to 7.30pm at 441 Princes Street, Dunedin.
What’s special about Dunedin Hapkido is the supportive team vibe. Alex and the instructors are all about camaraderie and mutual growth.
If you’re curious and want a sneak peek of what’s in store, take a look at their social media videos. They might be a bit dated, but they'll give you an idea of what you’ll be learning.
