The club's rich history in fostering soccer has earned them prestigious awards such as the FAI/Aviva Club of the Year in 2009 and the UEFA Grassroots Bronze Medal Club of the Year in 2010. With a strong focus on promoting the game of soccer in the community, Dunboyne AFC offers programmes for players of all ages, from Under 8 to Senior levels.
Having a playing membership of approximately 600 members, including both boys and girls aged 5 through to adults, the club is affiliated with the North Dublin School Boys League for underage schoolboy football and the Leinster Senior League for adult players. Additionally, Dunboyne AFC boasts a girl's academy and 6 girl's teams competing in the Metropolitan Girls League. A recent addition to the club's offerings is the introduction of two under 19 teams in the LFL Leinster Football League.
