Dunblane New Golf Club has a rich history dating back to 1922 when golf was played on a small nine-hole course by the River Allan, which now serves as the Laighills Public Park. The original course was established by Mr. Philp, the owner of the Hydropathic Hotel, and was leased from the Honourable Captain Drummond of Cromlix. The club has since grown and evolved into the beautiful golfing destination it is today.
