The upcoming local soccer event hosted by Dronfield Town FC is a must-attend for all passionate players in the area. As a grassroots club, the Dronfield Town FC Wildcats centre focuses on providing young girls aged 5-11 with a fantastic opportunity to have a blast, forge lifelong friendships, and, of course, play football!
Since its grand opening on April 20th, 2019, the Wildcats centre has been nothing short of a triumph. We kicked off the first session with a incredible turnout of 28 girls, and the excitement only continued to build from there. Week after week, we were amazed by the consistently high attendance levels. In fact, during one session, an impressive 56 girls showed up, highlighting the growing popularity and success of our initiative.
Fuelled by this remarkable progress, we made the decision to expand. We have proudly introduced two new Under 9s teams and an additional U10s team. This extension ensures that our young footballers can continue their journey and stay engaged in the sport they love. We are determined to provide local girls with the best possible opportunities to develop their skills and nurture their passion for football.
Now, let's talk logistics! These exciting sessions take place every Monday evening at the prestigious Gosforth Fields on the ATP. This incredible location provides an ideal setting for our girls to explore the world of football. It serves as an excellent introduction to the sport, allowing them to discover if they wish to pursue competitive football or simply have a ball on a recreational level.

We want to create an environment where players can feel free to express themselves, build confidence, and, most importantly, have fun!
