Dromquinna STABLES

Dromquinna Stables is a family-owned and operated horse riding school and horseback riding service located in Kenmare. With a focus on fun and adventure, we offer rides to discover the beauty of Kenmare Bay and surrounding areas. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced rider, we have rides and lessons suitable for all levels.

Our rides take you along the sea, through lush woodlands, and into the mountains, providing stunning views of the Iveragh and Beara Peninsulas. We offer 1. 5-hour rides for those looking for a longer adventure, as well as 40-minute family rides for smaller riders and families with younger children.

In addition to rides, we also offer flatwork and jumping lessons in our fully-lit arena with an all-weather surface. Lessons are available for both children and adults, making it a great activity for the whole family. Experienced riders can also enjoy jumping lessons on our experienced horses and ponies, with jumps ranging from 35 cm to 110 cm.

For those looking for a more adventurous experience, we offer treks into the Kerry hills or along the Kenmare Bay, where you can discover beautiful wildlife and breathtaking views. Our team consists of a German-Irish partnership, with Xenia from Munich and Michael, a Kenmare native, working together to keep the family tradition of the stables alive.
