Dr. Marcus Gatto is the owner and director of Sport Performance and Therapeutics at Pursuit Athletic Centre, as well as a Performance Therapist at PPA Therapy in Guelph. With a focus on preventative sports injury therapy, rehabilitation therapy, and sports performance training, Dr. Gatto is committed to helping active individuals reach their full potential.
Having been involved in sports from a young age, Dr. Gatto understands the importance of exercise and performance in one's life. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology with Honours Distinction from the University of Western Ontario and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto.
Continuing his education and seeking out different avenues of growth is important to Dr. Gatto, as he strives to stay on the leading edge of sport performance and therapy. He has worked with a variety of athletes, including professional NHL players, amateur athletes, and general population clients to help them improve their performance and overall well-being.
In addition to his practice, Dr. Gatto is involved in the local community and is dedicated to sports-related research, particularly surrounding adolescent performance and development. He has recently been named the Team Doctor for the Guelph Griffins AAA Midget hockey team, demonstrating his commitment to the athletic community in Guelph.
