Dream Calisthenics

Dream Callisthenics Dance Club is a sports club located in Darwin, Australia. The club specialises in offering callisthenics dance classes for children and adults, ranging from 3 to 18+ years old. Callisthenics dance is a unique combination of fitness, teamwork, poise, flexibility, and graceful movement. Participants have the opportunity to compete in various dance form performances that incorporate apparatus such as clubs and rods.

Callisthenics is widely practised in Australia and is recognised as a fun and healthy way to keep fit for individuals of all ages. It is a sport that requires discipline of both mind and body, as well as a competitive spirit. At Dream Callisthenics Dance Club, we aim to provide a supportive and engaging environment where participants can learn about teamwork, build lifelong friendships, and develop important life skills.

Our experienced coaching staff are dedicated to nurturing our young participants and helping them develop their skills in various callisthenics routines and apparatus. Some of the routines we focus on include aesthetic exercises, fancy routines, club swinging, rods, and free exercises. Each routine has its own unique challenges and allows participants to showcase their strength, flexibility, and timing.

In addition to our regular classes, we also have upcoming events that offer exciting opportunities for our members. We have a “Come and Try Day” scheduled for February 4, 2023, where prospective members can experience what callisthenics is all about. We also have the NT Callisthenics Association Solo Championship on May 13, 2023, which provides an avenue for participants to showcase their individual talents.

Our classes are held at the Cornerstone Church Hall in Howard Springs. We offer different class times for different age groups, ensuring that everyone can find a convenient time to participate. For example, there is a Cali Dance class on Saturdays from 8:45am to 9:30am, a Future Stars class on Saturdays from 9:45am to 11:15am, Sub Juniors class on Thursdays from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, and Juniors class on Thursdays from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. We also have a Dream Callisthenics Club App that allows members to register with the club and submit sports vouchers conveniently.
