Currently, the club has three adult teams. The Saturday 1st XI competes in the prestigious Derbyshire County Cricket League, showcasing top-level cricketing talent. The Sunday Friendly XI offers a more relaxed and informal cricketing experience, perfect for players who enjoy a friendly game. Additionally, the club has a Beer team that plays on Friday evenings, catering to those who enjoy a social and recreational approach to the sport.
Draycott & Hanbury Cricket Club also places a strong emphasis on developing young cricketers. The club has a growing junior section, which covers four age groups – u17s, u15s, u13s, and u11s. These teams actively participate in the Burton and District Junior Leagues, providing young players with opportunities to develop their skills and grow a love for the game. The club also runs the ECB All-Stars initiative, an 8-week course on Saturday mornings during the summer, catering to 5-8 year olds who are just starting to discover cricket.
In recent years, Draycott & Hanbury Cricket Club has also expanded its offerings to include a Ladies Softball team. The team participates in various Ladies Softball Festivals in the local area, promoting women's involvement in the sport and providing a fun and inclusive environment for female players.
