Dragon Freestyle Kickboxing

Dragon Freestyle Kickboxing, set up by Ian Harrison in January '98, is a top-notch martial arts school in Mansfield and Nottingham. It’s open to everyone, from beginners to black belts, and offers classes for anyone 6 and up.

Classes are all about getting fitter, stronger, and more confident, while having a blast. You'll do padwork, fitness training, and sparring, and there’s plenty of chances to compete. Plus, you can go at your own pace.

The venues are dead easy to get to. Nottingham classes are at Unit 8, 1st Floor, Hartley Business Centre, Hucknall Road, NG5 1FD. Mansfield classes happen at Oak Tree Leisure Centre, Jubilee Way South, NG18 3RT. Hit Ian up on 07976 890887 to check class availability and book your trial session.

Membership’s pretty flexible: one person’s £30 a month, a family of three’s £75, a family of four’s £90, and Pad-Fit (one class a week) is £22. Want to spar? You’ll need the full kit.

Newbies get their first class free (with booking), and can try three more for £25. After that, it’s £49 to join up.
