Introducing 313 Fitness, a thriving Fitness club located in the heart of London. One of their highlight events is the annual Al-Noor Dragonboat race at Fairlop Waters, Hainault. And let's not forget the incredible ladies who make up the 313 Ladies Dragon Boat team.
Led by the remarkable Shagufta, the Dragonboat team was formed in 2018 with a group of individuals who had little to no experience in paddling. What they lacked in experience, they made up for with their unwavering passion for fitness and their commitment to supporting humanitarian causes and local charities. The team was fueled by their competitive spirit, and that's what drove them to conquer new heights.
Ever since its inception, the 313 Ladies Dragon Boat team has consistently maintained their title of champions at the Al-Noor Dragonboat race. In 2018, 2019, and even in 2021 (unfortunately, there was no race in 2020 due to the pandemic), they achieved a remarkable hat trick of wins. It goes to show the dedication and skill these women bring to the sport.
Not only have they proven themselves on the water, but they have also made a significant impact off the water as well. Through their participation in this event, the team has managed to raise an impressive amount of over £20,000 for various charitable causes. Their efforts have touched lives and made a genuine difference in the community.
