Downey's Taekwon-Do, located in St. John's, is a renowned martial arts school run by Grand Master Scott Downey, a 9th Degree Black Belt, and Master Cathy Downey, a 7th Degree Black Belt. Established in 1990, it is the longest-running Taekwon-Do school in St. John's, with a legacy spanning 33 years.
The school offers a variety of programs, including the Little Dragons Program for children aged 4-7 and the Family program for individuals aged 8 and up. Classes for the 2023-2024 season will resume on Tuesday, September 5th, with specific schedules for different belt levels. The Little Dragons program, both for new and returning students, is open, while new students for other age groups will be accepted starting January 2024.
