Kickboxing quickly became a top martial art, mixing karate strikes with boxing punches and Muay Thai kicks and clinches. It’s great for fitness and mental discipline, so anyone can join in.

At Dorking Freestyle Kickboxing Academy (FKA), run by Jack, they stick to both karate and kickboxing roots. The club started as Dorking Karate Kai in the early '80s and shifted to Dorking Freestyle Sport Kickboxing (DFSK) in ‘93. By 2023, it became the Dorking Freestyle Kickboxing Academy (FKA).

You’ll find FKA at Priory School in Dorking, Surrey. It’s an independent club welcoming everyone from complete beginners to seasoned martial artists, ages 3 and up. They run four weekly training sessions for different skill levels, mixing modern kickboxing with traditional karate techniques.
