Welcome to Donaheys Dancing With The Stars Weekend, a leading dance school located in Kenilworth. With over 20 years of experience, Donaheys is renowned for its spectacular weekend breaks that combine ballroom dance lessons with intimate performances by the stars of the Dancing World.
At Donaheys, we believe in providing a truly unforgettable experience for our students. Our upcoming weekend break, scheduled for 7th 9th March 2025, will be held at the 4-star Alton Towers Resort Hotel in Staffordshire. This stunning venue offers a picturesque backdrop for our dance showcases, allowing you to enjoy the performances up close and personal.
During the weekend break, you will have the opportunity to learn from the best in the industry. Our dance classes, taught by the stars and champions of the Dancing World, span 7 hours and are tailored to your dancing ability. From ballroom to Latin, you will receive expert instruction that will enhance your skills and confidence on the dance floor.
In addition to the dance classes, you'll have the chance to engage with the stars during fun Q&A sessions. Discover behind-the-scenes gossip, ask burning questions, and gain insights into their fabulous journeys. Two nights of dancing in the Stateroom Ballroom, accompanied by a fabulous selection of music, will provide the perfect setting to put your newfound skills into practise.
One of the highlights of the weekend break is the Saturday night Black Tie Ball. Starring The Tony Greenwood 15-piece Ballroom & Latin Big Band, this event promises an unforgettable evening of dancing to live music. Capture memories with exclusive 'Red Carpet Photo Calls' with the stars, ensuring you have the perfect souvenir photographs to commemorate the experience.
Donaheys prides itself on providing exceptional amenities for its students. The dance floor at the 4-star Alton Towers Resort Hotel boasts a pro-championship sprung wooden floor, measuring a staggering 3,000 square feet. This floor, one of the largest in the UK, is used for the prestigious Blackpool Dance Championships, guaranteeing an exceptional dance experience.
While the star-studded lineup for our 2025 weekend breaks will be announced in Spring 2024, you can expect a lineup that includes many of your favourite Strictly stars from our previous events.
