At Dog Splash, we ensure that only you and your booked guests are present, so there is no need to worry about interactions with other dogs or people.
Our facility is located in East Sussex, easily accessible from Pevensey & Westham railway station. Look for the Mercedes dealership, and you'll find us at Unit 4, Mountney Bridge Business Park, Westham, Pevensey, BN24 5NJ. We are within walking distance of the station, making it convenient for dog owners to visit us.
Dog Splash is dedicated to providing a fun and safe swimming experience for dogs. Our indoor heated pool is designed specifically for canines. We understand that dogs are part of the family, so we also allow owners to swim with their furry friends if they choose to do so.
To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable swimming experience, we offer various session types, all of which are private hire. This means that you won't have to share the pool with strangers or unknown dogs. Up to 4 dogs from the same household or as friends are allowed in the pool at any given time. This setup provides a controlled environment where dogs can freely swim and play alongside their owners.
Our swimming sessions last for 30 minutes, which is usually more than enough time for most dogs to enjoy their swim. If it's your dog's first time swimming, let us know so that we can provide buoyancy aids in various sizes if needed. Alternatively, you can bring your own if you prefer. While most dogs instinctively know how to swim, some breeds, such as pugs and bulldogs, may not be suitable for this activity due to their flatter faces.
It's always recommended to check with your vet if you are unsure.
To ensure the safety of your dogs, we recommend allowing them to rest during their session to prevent them from ingesting too much water. We also kindly ask all customers to read and accept our Terms & Conditions and Legal Disclaimer before booking a swim at Dog Splash.
When you arrive at our facility, please avoid walking into the pool room as we don't have a reception area. Our staff will be expecting you and will come to let you in. Feel free to bring towels for both humans and dogs, as changing time is included in your swim time. While there are no special requirements for swimwear, long-sleeved tops can help prevent scratches from enthusiastic swimmers.
Additionally, special footwear is not necessary.
During your booking, you and your guests will have exclusive access to the pool, ensuring privacy and a stress-free environment. Our office dog may be present in a cage in the office, but we can make arrangements to keep him in the car if necessary.
We understand that capturing memories is important, so we are happy to use your phones to take photos and videos of your swim. If available, we can also use our phone and send the media to you via WhatsApp later. However, please note that we cannot guarantee footage of your swim.
Unfortunately, we do not have showers on-site due to space constraints. However, we provide cubicles for changing, ensuring that you can prepare for your swim comfortably.
At Dog Splash, we welcome all dogs, including those who may be reactive to other dogs or people. If your dog requires a Reactive session, we can accommodate your needs and provide a safe and controlled environment for them.
