Divya Ma’am brings over sixteen years of teaching experience, specializing in Kathak dance following the revered Lucknow Gharana tradition, developed under the guidance of Padma Vibhushan Pandit Sri Birju Maharaj Ji. Her direct training from Pt. Jai Kishan Maharaj Ji, son of the Kathak legend, adds depth and authenticity to her instruction. Students are encouraged to perform at various stages, fostering confidence and showcasing their talent within the community and beyond.

In addition to Kathak, Divya Ma’am passionately teaches Hindustani classical vocal music to students aged seven and above. With a Master’s in Music from BHU, Varanasi, and tutelage under Padma Vibhushan Pt. Chhannulal Mishra Ji of the Banaras Gharana, she ensures each student receives personalized attention to thrive in their musical journey. Her students have graced prestigious festivals across India and the globe, a testament to the high caliber of training provided at SPRING OF RHYTHM.
