Diversity Dance and Aerial

Diversity Dance and Aerial is a dance company and physical fitness program located in the vibrant city of Vernon. Offering a diverse range of dance classes including Ballet, Pointe, Contemporary, Lyrical, Tap, Jazz, Acro, Freestyle, Choreography, Technique, Flexibility, Turns and Jumps, Strength, Hip Hop, Recreational, Competitive, Adult classes, Adult Burlesque Jazz, as well as Elevate Aerial Fitness, Elevate Aerial Dance, and Aerial Hoop classes. The studio also provides private lessons, hen parties, and rental space for birthday parties.

The founder and Studio Director, Lisa Pakenham (Schofield), brings over 31 years of professional dance experience to Diversity Dance and Aerial. Lisa's dance journey began at the age of 3 at the Pamela Grey Dancing Academy in Hull, England. She has completed exams in Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), Imperial Society of Teacher of Dance (ISTD), and International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA). Lisa furthered her training at the Hull College of Performing Arts, where she received her degree in BTEC National Diploma in Dance and Musical Theatre.

Lisa's extensive dance training includes Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Greek dance, National Dance, Ballroom, The Can Can, Broadway, Fosse, Burlesque, and Street dance. In addition to being a qualified Zumba Instructor, PIYO Instructor, and BOKWA Fitness Instructor, Lisa is a certified Aerial instructor offering classes in Aerial-Hammock/silks and Aerial Hoop. She has received numerous awards for her dancing and choreography and has been accepted into prestigious dance training schools such as the Yorkshire Ballet Scholars and the Northern Ballet School in England.
