Welcome to DIVERSE Performing Arts Liverpool, a vibrant and exciting performing arts group based in Woolton and Garston, Liverpool. Our dedicated team of instructors are passionate about nurturing young talent and providing high-quality training in a range of disciplines including Acting for Stage and Screen, Musical Theatre, and Commercial Dance.
At DIVERSE, we believe in providing our students with a well-rounded education in the performing arts. In addition to honing their skills in acting and dance, we also offer preparation for LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) Examinations. We are proud to share that our LAMDA Exam students have achieved a 100% pass rate, demonstrating the effectiveness of our teaching methods.
Our classes are designed to be engaging and dynamic, with a focus on practical learning. We constantly strive to provide our students with exciting opportunities to collaborate and showcase their talents. From producing and starring in music videos, to shooting films and participating in theatre shows, our students are encouraged to explore their creativity and build their confidence.
We have been featured on BBC Radio Merseyside, where our Acting for Screen teacher, Chris, discussed our upcoming film projects for the term. Our Stage 1 class is working towards a Short Film with the usage of green screen technology, while our Stage 2 and 3 classes are preparing for a Musical Short Film adaptation of the beloved story 'Matilda', incorporating acting, singing, and dance routines.
We recently commenced a new term and were thrilled with the turnout and enthusiasm from our students and their parents. We take the safety and well-being of our students seriously and have implemented strict COVID-19 restrictions, including social distancing, regular hand sanitization, temperature checks, and maintaining designated spots in class. Furthermore, we appreciate the cooperation of our students and parents in adhering to these measures.
We are incredibly proud of our students' achievements, both within our classes and outside our studio. One notable accomplishment is our first-place win (Gold Medal) in the Popcorn Film Festival for our scene from 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'. Our younger classes also delighted audiences with their lively interpretation of 'Snow White'. These achievements are a testament to our students' hard work and dedication.
If you are interested in discovering and developing your talents in the performing arts, we invite you to book a free taster class with us. Our classes are divided into different age groups, ranging from Stage 1 (ages 4-7), Stage 2 (ages 7-11), to Stage 3 (ages 12-18).
