For safety reasons, it is advised to wear wetsuits, especially in winter or cold waters, to retain heat and prevent hyperventilation or hypothermia. Wetsuits are required if the water temperature is under 16C, unless there is a prior agreement with management. If swimming without a wetsuit (when the water temperature is above 16C), a tow float must be used. Divers Cove offers wetsuit hire, and tow floats and swim hats can be rented or purchased on-site for convenience.
