Diss Cricket Club is a friendly and inclusive cricket club located in Diss, New Zealand. The club offers opportunities for both adults and juniors to play and develop their cricket skills.
For adults, Diss CC runs two Saturday teams. The 1st XI competes in the Norfolk Alliance Division 1, while the 2nd XI plays in the Norfolk Alliance Division 6. In addition, the club has a Ladies Softball team that participates in Festival style matches and The Hundred Cup. Whether you are an experienced player or new to the sport, Diss CC welcomes everyone to come and join in.
If you're unsure if cricket is for you, simply come along to one of the training sessions on Thursday evenings and give it a try.
The club also has a thriving junior setup for children aged 9–15 years old. Diss CC has been an AllStars centre since its inception, offering a fun and learning-focused environment for 5-8 year olds. The club provides high-quality coaching sessions for all junior players, helping them to develop their skills and love for the game.
Training sessions for seniors take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:45 pm until dusk, starting in early April. Ladies training specifically takes place on Thursday evening from 6:30 pm. Junior training sessions are held on Friday evenings from 28th April to 4th August 2023. AllStars training for 2023 commences on Saturday mornings from 09:30-10:30, starting on 20th May.
New players and those interested in joining are always welcome to attend these training sessions.
Allstars is now open and accepting registrations for boys and girls aged between 5 and 8. The fun-packed 8-week programme begins on 20th May 2023. Interested individuals can register on the club's website or find more information on www. allstarscricket.
