Snorkelling provides a unique opportunity to witness the wonders of marine life up close, without the noisy bubbles that come with scuba diving. And guess what? Falmouth Bay is the perfect location to embark on this adventure!
With its calm, clear and blue waters, Falmouth Bay boasts some of the best visibility in the UK. Not to mention, it is home to a vibrant array of marine species. From catsharks to rays, blennies to gobies, and even crabs, pipefish, anemones, sponges, wrasse, bream, and bass – Falmouth Bay has it all! Our guided snorkel tours are carefully designed to ensure your safety while snorkelling and to show you the best spots to encounter these fascinating creatures.
Available from March until October, our snorkel trips take place at various locations including Falmouth Bay, Pendennis Point, and Silver Steps. The exact cost of these trips can be provided upon request, so don't hesitate to reach out for more information. Each snorkelling experience includes the guidance of an experienced dive/snorkel guide, a comprehensive snorkel and safety briefing, as well as training on how to use the mask, snorkel, and fins. Our expert guides will even teach you snorkel clearing techniques and finning techniques to enhance your snorkelling skills!
During the snorkel tour, you can expect exhilarating encounters with marine life and the valuable assistance of our knowledgeable guide in identifying the creatures you come across. The duration of each snorkelling session ranges from a leisurely 45 minutes to an hour, or for the more adventurous, a thrilling 1.5-2 hour snorkel adventure!
To participate in this amazing snorkelling experience, it is necessary for you to have a confident swimming ability. Don't worry about the equipment – we provide masks, fins, and snorkels as part of the package. However, if you prefer not to hire a wetsuit, you are more than welcome to bring your own. And for those who would like to stay warmer in the water, wetsuit hire can be added to the snorkel tours for an additional £5.00 per person.
