Diamond Gymnastics was founded in 2016 by Georgia Foster, who had a passion for gymnastics from a young age. Georgia trained extensively as a child with a Russian coach and competed in numerous competitions. At 16, she began coaching at local clubs, gaining valuable experience before realising her dream of opening her own gymnastics club.

The club initially started in a school hall, offering classes to a few children. As the club grew in popularity, it moved to the Jim McDonald Centre, where it currently serves around 300 children each week. By mid-2021, the club had reached full capacity with the available hours and began searching for its own premises to accommodate further growth. In February 2022, the club secured a lease for a new location on Beaconsfield Road, where it moved in April 2022.

Currently, Diamond Gymnastics boasts over 10 coaches, including 3 level 2 coaches. This allows the club to offer a variety of day and weekend classes, as well as cheerleading. The club welcomes children of all ages and abilities, from toddlers to teenagers. Whether a child is a beginner or has prior gymnastics experience, there are classes available to suit their needs.

The fees for classes are affordable and based on a 6-week term. The prices are as follows: 5 per session for Parent and Child unstructured classes, 33 per child for Parent and Child structured classes, 36 per child for Pre-school (3-4 yr olds), 48 per child for Recreational classes (4 years+), and 63 per child for the Development Squad (invitation only). There is a 10% discount for siblings.
